The only thing you owe violent people is to see and respect their humanity in ways they refuse for others but you are not required to see their anger as acceptance.

This is a great project you have going on. I think it's actually great that we are moving just as time changes. Like the platform says though still a taboo in the African context, we have greatly improved because of people like you who use their resources, no matter how small it is and their strengths to give people their confidence they lost due to unfortunate circumstances.

I feel like I really need to say kudos to the people who came up with this idea. Often times people get to go through alot of mental issues which they don't talk about because they are either shy or afraid to be stigmatized. Which causes depression. Mental health awareness is an extreme necessity in the African communities,we don't pay attention to mental health issues this way and I think it's time we start talking about it. With the tohkam platform, you have the option to be anonymous and this solves alot.I really recommend this platform to every cameroonian.

Yes! Domestic violence occurs to all genders but in our settings mostly by men to women. I have met young boys, beat up ladies claiming they are in a relationship. I interviewed a couple of men, they said they cannot date without beating up a lady. For them, that’s a sign of love. I’ll also tell you, I have seen people lose lives because of what others call « LOVE ». This is because they cannot open up. They are scared if they talk, they might be killed. I was wondering what can be done, nothing came up! Behold! Came Tohkam to solve this issue. Even men who are scared to open up about domestic violence have a mouthpiece thanks to Tohkam.I highly recommend this!!
